elektronistagmografidir. Bu çalışmada tek taraflı kronik otitis media tanısıyla opere
edilen hastalarda vestibüler sistemin etkilenmesinin preoperatif ve postoperatif
vestibüler testlerle araştırılması amaçlanmaktadır. Hastalara preoperatif ve
postoperetif vestibüler muayane testleri, odyogram ve videoelektronistagmografinin
tüm testleri yapılmıstır. Postopertatif tüm testler ameliyat sonrası üçüncü ayda
yapılmıstır. Çalısmamızda preoperatif kalorik testte 13 (% 43.3) hastada KOM’la
aynı tarafta kanal parezisi saptandı. Preoperatif yapılan kalorik testler ile postoperatif
yapılan kalorik testler arasında anlamlı fark bulunmuştur (p= 0.001). Buna göre
hastaların %50’sine yakın bir kısmında yapılan ameliyatın isitme sistemi yanında
denge sistemini de olumlu etkilediği düşünülmüştür.
Occuring
sympthoms as vertigo, nystagmus, queasiness, vomit shows that vestibular system
effected for patients which have diagnosis of chronic otitis media.
Electronystagmography test is best way to understand how labirent system affected
for patients which have chronic otitis media. Our study is aimed; vestibular system
affect will be researched with preoperative and postoperative vestibular tests for the
patients which have operated unilateral chronic media otitis. Preoperative and
postoperative vestibular inspection tests, audiogram and all of the
videoelctronystagmography tests have been operated for patients. All of the
postoperative tests are done three months after operation. Based on preoperative
caloric test; Chronic Otitis Media and canal palsy have been detected in same side
with percent of 13 (%43.3) patient in our study. Significant difference is determined
between performed caloric preoperative and postoperative tests (p=0,001).According
to our study ; We think that performed operation is affected positively to balance
system besides that auditory system for % 50 patient.
