Bu çalısmada, TiO2 filmler, döndürerek kaplama yöntemi kullanılarak cam
tabanlar üzerine olusturulmustur. Bu islem için gerekli çözelti, uygun miktarlarda
titanyum (IV) bütoksit, etanol, asetik asit ve deiyonize su içermektedir. Uygulama
boyunca, çözeltiden 5 μl alınarak cam tabanların üzerine damlatılıp, sonra taban
3000 rpm hızında 40 saniye boyunca döndürülmüstür. Daha sonra cam tabanlar üzerine
5, 7 ve 9 katlı filmler hazırlanmıstır. Her kaplama sonunda 15 dakika süresince
In this study, TiO2 films have been prepared on the glass substrates by spin
coating technique. The solution required for this process is the mixture of proper
amounts of titanium (IV) butoxide, ethanol, acetic acid and deionized water. During the
application, 5 μl of solution has been instilled on glass substrates. Then the base has
been spinned for 40 seconds at 3000 rpm. After that, 5, 7 and 9 layered films have been
prepared on glass substrates. At the end of each deposition, the films were dried at
130 oC for 15 minutes. Finally, the TiO2 films have been annealed at 350, 400 and
450 oC for 1 h. The film thickness varied with the number of layer and drying processes
made before annealing. Thicknesses of TiO2 films have been calculated to be in the
range of 406-1624 nm using the weighing method. Crystal structure analyzes of the
films were performed using x-ray diffraction technique. As a result of these analyses, it
has been observed that the TiO2 films have anatase tetragonal crystal structure. The
plots of (αhυ)2 versus hυ have been drawn by using the obtained absorption spectra. It
has been determined that all of the obtained films have direct band transitions using the
optical method and the forbidden energy gap values of the films varies between 3.94 to
3.97 eV. As a final process, the surface morphology of TiO2 films have been
investigated by taking the surface images. It has been observed that the surfaces of the
films have a regular structure and the structures on the surfaces don’t deteriorate by the
increase in temperature.
