Elektro-
Fenton ve mikroelektroliz yöntemleri uygulanmıs, sırasıyla %13,9 ve %11,26 KOĐ
giderimi elde edilmistir.
In this study, treatability of opium alkaloid wastewater was examined by the
methods of chemical coagulation, fenton, electro-Fenton and microelectrolysis. Percentage
of removal was examined in terms of COD concentration. In experimental studies,
wastewater having 20458 mg/L COD concentration was used. The effects of pH,
coagulant type and coagulant dose were examined in chemical coagulation method. In
fenton method; the effects of pH, H2O2 and FeSO4 concentrations were investigated. The
effects of current density, solution conductivity and pH and types of electrodes were
studied in electro-Fenton method. Also, the effects of solution pH and conductivity were
examined in microelectrolysis experiments. Maximum COD removal ratio of 50% was
achieved at pH of 3, 600 mg/L Al (SO4)3 dosage in chemical coagulation method. After the
coagulation process, the wastewater having 10288 mg/L COD concentration was treated by
fenton method and the highest COD removal efficiency was obtained as 67.7% at pH = 3,
1600 mg/L of FeSO4 dosage and 3200 mg/L of H2O2 dosage. As a result, COD
concentration of opium alkaloid wastewater was decreased from 20458 mg/L to 3302
mg/L. Electro-Fenton ve microelectrolysis methods applied and COD removal efficiency
were obtained respectively 13,9% and 11,26%.
