As a result of industrialization, globalization, technological developments and rapid population consumption has been increased rapidly. The idea that the resources given by nature are endless has led consumers to excessive and unconscious consumption. As in many sectors, increased production and consumption in the textile industry has caused environmental pollution and waste. Moreover, the fashion and textile industry is the second most important source of environmental pollution after oil.
In this context, the subject of this study is to examine the role of marketing in the management of sustainable textile supply chain. Due to the pandemic conditions, semi-structured interviews with 38 people were conducted via video conference. The obtained data were analyzed by content analysis method and categories were determined. It is expected that the results obtained from this study will be beneficial to increase the awareness and incentives of consumers about sustainable clothing
