Kenan Hulisikoray’ın hayatı ve eserleri üzerine bir inceleme

Abstract

Kenan Hulusi Koray, Yedi Meşale topluluğunun tek nesir yazarı olarak bilinir. Oysa topluluğun etkisinde yazdığı ilk nesirleri şiirsel özelliğe sahiptir. Bu özellikteki metinleri kelime seçimi ve anlam yoğunluğu bakımından Yedi Meşale topluluğunun edebi anlayışını yansıtır. İlk dönem mensur şiirleri ve hikâyeleri, bireysel konuları kapsayan metinlerdir. Bu metinler söz sanatlarının ve alegorik anlatımın güçlü olduğu metinlerdir. Bu ilk dönem eserlerde lirik bir anlatım kendisini gösterir. Kenan Hulusi Koray, gazeteciliği döneminde “Vakitçiler” ve “Sadri Ertem” etkisinde toplum içinde kadın, sosyal meseleler, modernleşme, köy hayatı gibi sosyal yönü ağır basan hikâyeler yazmaya başlamıştır. Koray, bu süreçte daha çok realist veya naturalist bir bakış açısını tercih eder. Edebiyat hayatındaki bütün bu değişmelere rağmen onun eserlerinin tamamında sanat ön plandadır. Bu çalışmada, Kenan Hulusi Koray’ın sanat görüşü, ortaya koyduğu metinler üzerinden değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Tezin ilk bölümünde, Kenan Hulusi Koray’ın kendi döneminde ortaya konulan çalışmalardan yola çıkılmıştır. İkinci bölümde Kenan Hulusi Koray’ın metinlerinde onun sanat görüşlerinin izleri irdelenmiştir. Tezin son bölümü ise Kenan Hulusi Koray’ın köy, kadın, Anadolu, modernleşme gibi meselere yaklaşımını ihtiva eder

Kenan Hulusi Koray is known as the only prose writer of the Yedi Meşale troupe. However, the first prose he wrote under the influence of the community has a poetic feature. His texts with this feature reflect the literary understanding of the Yedi Meşale community in terms of word choice and meaning density. His early prose poems and stories are texts that cover individual topics. These texts are texts with strong rhetoric and allegorical expression. A lyrical expression shows itself in these early works. Kenan Hulusi Koray, under the influence of "Vakitçiler" and "Sadri Ertem", started to write stories that dominate social aspects such as women in society, social issues, modernization, and village life. Koray prefers a more realistic or naturalist perspective in this process. Despite all these changes in his literary life, art is at the forefront in all of his works. In this study, Kenan Hulusi Koray's view of art has been tried to be evaluated through the texts he produced. In the first part of the thesis, the studies put forward in Kenan Hulusi Koray's own period are based on. In the second part, the traces of Kenan Hulusi Koray's views on art in the texts are examined. The last part of the thesis includes Kenan Hulusi Koray's approach to issues such as village, woman, Anatolia and modernization
