Türk romanında yakınçağ Osmanlı isyanları (1789-1909)

Abstract

Her türlü otoriteye karşı gelme anlamı içeren isyan kavramı şiddet barındıran, toplumsal düzenin alt üst edildiği sosyolojik ve siyasal bir olaydır. Toplumsal düzene duyulan memnuniyetsizlikten doğar ve var olan otoriteyi devirerek, insanların kendine yeni bir iktidar araması amacında ilerler. İsyan, ihtilal ve darbe kavramları her ne kadar birbirinden farklı anlamlar içerse de özünde hükümet değişikliğiyle sonuçlanan siyasal olaylardır. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu‟nun siyasi tarihinde kitlesel isyanlar sıklıkla baş gösterir. Örneğin padişahın ve devletin koruyucusu olan yeniçeriler sık sık isyan ederler. Bu isyanlardan bazıları taht değişikliği ile sonuçlanır. Sultan Abdülaziz‟in devrilmesi Türk siyasi tarihine ilk askerî darbe olarak geçer. II. Abdülhamit‟e karşı düzenlenen 31 Mart Vakası ise yine bir iktidar değişikliği ile sonuçlanan siyasi olaydır. Toplumların ve milletlerin kolektif bilinçlerinin oluşmasında isyanlar önemli bir yer tutar ve bu kolektif bilinç de Türk romanına yansımıştır. Türk romanının doğduğu Tanzimat döneminden itibaren yazarlar tarihe yönelmiş, Osmanlı dönemi isyanları ise özellikle Cumhuriyet döneminden itibaren popüler roman konusu hâline gelmiştir. Popüler tarih romanlarına ilgi gösteren Cumhuriyet dönemi yazarları eserleriyle bu döneme ışık tutarlar. Başta Reşad Ekrem Koçu, Turhan Tan, Bekir Büyükarkın, Kemal Tahir olmak üzere hemen pek çok yazar Osmanlı isyanlarını konu edinmiştir. v Bu çalışma, Yakınçağ Osmanlı dönemi diye adlandırılan 1789-1909 yılları arasında çıkan isyanları, darbeleri ve bunların sonucunda yaşanan iktidar değişikliklerini konu edinen romanları inceleyerek isyanların Türk romanına yansımasını ve bir tema olarak roman estetiğimiz içindeki derinliğini ve yerini tespit etmeyi amaçlamaktadır

The concept of rebellion, which means oppose to all kinds of authorities, is a sociological and political event in which violence and social order are turned upside down. It arises from dissatisfaction with the social order and, by overthrowing the current authority and it is intended for people to look for new power. Although the concepts of rebellion, revolution and coup have different meanings, they are in essence political events that result in a change of government. Mass riots often occur in the political history of the Ottoman Empire. For example, the janissaries who are the protectors of the sultan and the state often rebel. Some of these rebellions result in a change of thrones. The overthrow of Sultan Abdülaziz was the first military coup in Turkish political history. The March 31 case against Abdülhamit II is also a political event that resulted in a change of power. Rebellions take an important place in the formation of collective consciousness of societies and nations, and this collective consciousness is reflected in the Turkish novel. Since the tanzimat period when the Turkish novel was born, writers have turned to history, and ottoman revolts have become the subject of popular novels, especially since the Republican period. Republican writers who show interest in popular historical novels shed light on this period with their works. Many writers, initially Reşad Ekrem Koçu, Turhan Tan, Bekir Büyükarkın, Kemal Tahir, took Ottoman rebellions as their subjects. This work aims to determine the depth and place of the rebellions in our novel aesthetics as a theme by examining the novels about the riots, coups and the vii resulting power changes between 1789 and 1909, which are called the Near Ottoman period
