İbnü's-Serrac'ın el-Usul fi'n-nahv adlı eserinde metot, tasnif ve terimleşme

Abstract

Arap dili nahiv çalışmalarında konuların kapsamlı bir şekilde yer aldığı ilk telif Sîbeveyhi’nin el-Kitâb adlı eseri olmuştur. Bu eser uzun zaman boyunca Arap dili eğitiminde en önemli ders aracı ve kaynak olarak kullanılmıştır. Ancak eserdeki konuların anlaşılması güç ve girift durumda olması, konuların sistemli bir şekilde ele alınma ihtiyacını ortaya koymuştur. Müberred’in, el-Muktedab adlı eserini yazarak bu ihtiyaca cevap verme teşebbüsü olsa da konuların tasnifindeki problemi ortadan kaldırmak için yeterli olamamıştır. İbnü’s-Serrâc, el-Usûl fî’n-nahv adlı eserini yazarak konuların tasnifinde yeni bir metot ortaya koymuştur. Eserinde temel nahiv konularına yer vererek, fazlalık ve fürûât olan konuları zikretmemeye özen göstermiştir. Bu itibarla kitabına el-Usûl fî’n-nahv adını vermiştir. Sîbeveyhi’nin kitabında dağınık olan konuları merfûât, mansûbât ve mecrûrât gibi başlıklar altında benzer konuları bir araya getirerek bâbları düzenli hale getirmiştir. Zikretmiş olduğu her bir konunun öncesi ve sonrası arasındaki bağlantıları kurarak, konular arsındaki kopukluğun önüne geçmiştir. Sîbeveyhi’nin kitabında kapalı ve uzun olan başlıkları, anlaşılır bir biçimde sade ve belli terimler ile Sîbeveyhi’den farklı bir şekilde daha çok istilâhî bir yol izlemiştir. Bu itibarla İbnü’s-Serrâc, konuların tasnifinde ortaya koymuş olduğu yeni metot ile daha sonraki dönemlerde nahiv çalışmalarına ışık tutmuştur

Sîbeveyhi's al-Kitâb was the first manuscript in which the subjects were comprehensively included in the Arabic language syntax studies. This work has been used as the most important lesson tool and resources in Arabic language education for a long time. However, the fact that the subjects in the work are difficult to understand and intricate has revealed the need to deal with the subjects in a systematic way. Although Müberred attempt to respond to this need by writing his work al-Muqtadab, it was not enough to eliminate the problem in the classification of the subjects. İbnü's- Serrâc wrote his work el-Usûl fî'n-nahv and revealed a new method in the classification of subjects. By giving place to the basic syntax issues in his work, he took care not to mention the redundant and furûat issues. In this respect, he named his book al-Usûl fî'n-nahv. He organized the chapters by bringing together similar subjects under the headings of merfûat, mansûbat, and mecrûrat, which were scattered in Sîbeveyhi's book. By establishing the connections between the before and after of each subject he mentioned, he prevented the disconnection between the subjects. In Sîbeveyhi's book, the obscure and long titles, clearly and in clear terms, followed a more ideological path, different from Sîbeveyhi's. In this respect, İbnü's-Serrâc shed light on the syntax studies in the later periods with the new method he put forward in the classification of the subjects
