Gülşehri'nin Mantıku't-Tayr'ı (inceleme-metin-bağlamlı dizin ve işlevsel sözlük)

Abstract

Ferîdüddîn Attâr’ın Mantıku’t-tayr mesnevisinin Anadolu sahasındaki ilk manzum çevirisi 13. yüzyılın ikinci yarısı ile 14. yüzyılın ilk yarısında yaşamış olan Gülşehrî tarafından yapılmıştır. Mesnevi, Kemal Yavuz tarafından 2007 yılında Gülşehrî’nin Mantıku’t-Tayr’ı (Gülşen-nâme) -Metin ve Günümüz Türkçesine Aktarma- adıyla iki cilt hâlinde yayımlanmıştır. Çalışmamızda Kemal Yavuz’un eserin altı nüshasına dayanarak hazırladığı -e kitap metni esas alınarak transkripsiyonu yapılmış, mesnevinin bağlamlı dizin ve işlevsel sözlüğü oluşturulmuştur. 4438 beyitten oluşan mesnevide 45.121 sözcük kullanılmış; her birinin mânâsı, metnin bağlamı içerisinde kazandığı anlamı ile birlikte verilmiştir. Mesnevinin sözcük kadrosu incelenmiş; sözcük türleri, kalıp ifadeler, Arapça ibâreler, atasözleri, deyimler, duâ ifadeleri, âyetler, hâdisler ve kelâm-ı kibârlar tespit edilmiştir. Tez üç ana bölüm ve bir ekten oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde Gülşehrî’nin hayatı ve eserlerine değinilmiştir. İkinci bölümde Mantıku’t-tayr mesnevisinin incelemesine yer verilmiştir. Bu bölüm kapsamında hikayelerinin geniş özeti yapılarak mesnevinin motif yapısı irdelenmiştir. Bunların yanı sıra İslamiyet öncesi unsurlara yer verilmiş, mesnevide kullanılan metaforlar belirlenmiş ve mesnevideki metaforik anlatımın tahlili yapılmıştır. Tezin son bölümü ise mesnevinin dil ve üslup incelemesini içermektedir. Bu bölümde mesnevinin kelime kadrosu ve kelime grupları incelenmiş; bunların eserdeki kullanım şekilleri dil ve üslup özellikleri yönünden ele alınmış ve mesnevide geçen edebî sanatlara yer verilmiştir. Tezin ek kısmı ise bağlamlı dizin ve işlevsel sözlükten oluşmaktadır. Çalışmanın bağlamlı dizin bölümünde eserdeki sözcükler, alfabetik madde başları altında toplanarak sözcüğün kullanım sıklığı mesnevinin hangi bölümünde ve mısraında yer aldıysa bunların kaydı tutulmuştur. İşlevsel sözlük aşamasında ise bağlama göre değişen mânâlar tespit edilmiştir

The first poetical translation of Ferîdüddîn Attâr's Mantıku't-tayr mathnawi in the Anatolian field was made by Gülşehrî, who lived in the second half of the 13th century and the first half of the 14th century. The mathnawi was published in two volumes by Kemal Yavuz in 2007 under the name Gülşehrî's Mantıku't-Tayr (Gülşennâme) -Text and Contemporary Turkish Translation. In our study, a translation was made based on the e-book text prepared by Kemal Yavuz based on six copies of the work, and a contextual index and functional dictionary of the mathnawi were created. In the masnavi, which consists of 4438 couplets, 45.121 words are used; the meaning of each is given together with the meaning it acquires in the context of the text. The vocabulary of the mathnawi has been examined; word types, formulaic expressions, Arabic phrases, proverbs, idioms, prayer expressions, verses, hadiths and aphorisms were determined. The thesis consists of three main chapters and an appendix. In the first part, Gülşehri's life and works are mentioned. In the second part, the analysis of Mantıku'ttayr mathnawi is given. Within the scope of this section, the motif structure of the mathnawi was examined by making a broad summary of their stories. In addition to these, pre-Islamic elements were included, the metaphors used in the mathnawi were determined and the analysis of the metaphorical expression in the mathnawi was made. In this section, the vocabulary and word groups of the mathnawi are examined; the way they are used in the work is discussed in terms of language and stylistic features, and the literary arts in the mathnawi are included. In the contextual index part of the study, the words in the work were collected under the headings of alphabetical articles, and the frequency of use of the word was recorded in which part and line of the mathnawi.
