Bulgular: AraĢtırma bulguları AKOSEP’in ve performans geri bildirimlerinin ailelerin akıcı okuma stratejilerini öğrenmelerinde etkili olduğunu göstermektedir.

The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the developed family education program and performance feedback in teaching reading fluency strategies to families with children with Specific Learning Difficulty (SLD). At the same time, measuring the effects of these strategies taught to families on the reading fluency skills of their children with SLD is another aim of the study.
Method: The Reading Fluency Strategies Family Education Program (AKOSEP), developed by the researcher, was used to teach reading fluency strategies to the participating mother. The program was supported by the performance feedback provided by the researcher. Repeated reading, word drill, and echo reading strategies were used by the participating mother to develop the reading fluency skills of her child with SLD. The research was carried out according to the multiple probe desingn across behaviors, which is one of the single-case research models.
Result: Research findings show that AKOSEP and performance feedbacks are effective for families on learning reading fluency strategies. In additionit was concluded that the use of reading fluency strategies by families was effective in developing the reading fluency skills of children with SLD. In the social validity data, the participant mothers and their children stated that the application was effective in developing reading fluency skills and they suggested AKOSEP to other families children with SLD. The follow-up findings of the study show that AKOSEP and performance feedback ensure that these strategies are used at the same level five weeks after they gain reading fluency strategies.
Conclusion and Suggestions: It is seen that AKOSEP and performance feedbacks are effective for families to learn reading fluency strategies and at the same

time, families' presentation of learned reading fluency strategies to their children with SLD improves their reading fluency skills. Based on this, it is recommended to improve their children's reading fluency skills by applying AKOSEP and performance feedback to families who have children with SLD
