Türkiye'de çalışan kadınların işgücü piyasasındaki konumları ve karşılaştıkları sorunlar

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye'de kadın işgücünün, günümüzde değişen ekonomik ve toplumsal yapı çerçevesinde emek piyasalarındaki konumunu ve sorunlarını belirlemektir.Çalışmada işgücü kavramları tanımlanıp bu kavramların özellikleri açıklanmış olup, Dünya'da ve Türkiye'de tarihsel süreç içerisinde kadın işgücünün durumu incelenmiştir. Çalışmamız da ayrıca kadın işgücü sorunlarına genel bir açıdan bakabilmek için Dünya'da çalışan kadınların sorunlarına da yer verilmiştir. Bu bölümde ILO ve OECD rakamlarına yer verilmiştir. Türkiye'de kadın işgücü konumu incelenirken DPT ve TÜİK'ten alınan istatistiki veriler yorumlanarak sosyal ve ekonomik kriterler çerçevesinde analiz edilmiştir.Çalışma sonunda günümüzde bile etkisini sürdüren sosyokültürel ataerkil yapı, toplumda kadınların işgücüne katılımını kısıtlayan en temel sorun olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Devlet, işveren, işçi kuruluşları ve toplumun diğer kesimlerinin ortaklaşa çalışmaları sonucunda kadın işgücü ile ilgili sorunlar azaltılarak, kadınlar eşit haklar ve konumlarla işgücü piyasasındaki yerlerini alabileceklerdir.

The aim of this study is to determine the situation and problems of labor force in Turkey taking into consideration the changing economic and social structure nowadays.In the study labor force concepts are defined, the features of these concepts are explained and also the situation of women labor force is investigated throughout the historical process both in Turkey and World. Furthermore to be able to look into the problems of woman labor force in general manner, the problems of working woman in World are also included in the study. Data provided from ILO and OECD are taken into account in this part. Nevertheless the situtation of woman labor force in Turkey is analyzed by using the statistical data taken from DPT and TÜİK which are interpreted considering the social and economic conditions.As a result of the study, the main problem of women labor force is noted as the restricting effect of socio-cultural patriarchal structure, which is dominant even today, on the participation of woman into the labor force. Providing that the government, employers, labor organizations and other important parts of the society working together, the problems regarding women labor force can be reduced and thus women can take their deserved places in the labor market with fair and equal rights.
