Tüketilen özgül enerjiler her iki öğütme

High-pressure roll grinding has achieved considerable popularity over the last
several years given its potential of improving capacity and reducing energy
consumption in a grinding circuit. Comminution in the High-Pressure Grinding Roll
(HPGR) is the result of the high interparticle stresses generated when a bed of solids is
compressed as it moves down the gap between two pressurized rolls. A particularly
attractive use of the HPGR in the minerals and cement industries is as a pre-grinding
stage prior to conventional ball milling. In this hybrid mode, the energy efficiency of
high-pressure roll grinding is combined to the ability of the ball mill in achieving high
reduction ratios. It was pointed out that the success of the hybrid mode of grinding
would depend on the HPGR producing already a fraction of the circuit product and
weakening those particles remaining unbroken.
In this study, grinding tests with porcelain stoneware body were carried out in
two modes. In the conventional mode, porcelainized stoneware body was ground in the
fast mill directly. In the hybrid mode, the same material was first crushed using roll
crusher and then subsequently ground in the fast mill. Specific energy consumptions
were determined for both modes. Comparing the results it was found that hybrid
grinding system offers 41.4% of energy saving. In addition, the effect of different
grinding modes on some important properties of ceramic products were also
investigated and it was found that different grinding modes did not have a significant
effect on the properties of ceramic products. |
