Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı; temettuat defterine ve salnamalere göre, XIX. Yüzyılda Osmanlı Devleti'nin Kosova Vilayeti kazalarından olan Gilan'ın sosyo - ekonomik durumunu ortaya koymaktır. Şehirlerin sosyal tarihi, ülke ve devletlerin sosyal gelişimini, gelir durumunu, demografik yapısını ortaya koyan önemli bir göstergedir. Osmanlı Devleti'nin işleyişini ve sosyal yapısını anlayabilmek için Osmanlı şehirlerinin sosyo-ekonomik yapıları incelenmelidir. Şehir araştırmacılarının en önemli kaynakları şüphesiz araştırma yapılan devre ait kronikler, resmi ve özel kaynaklardır. Dolayısıyla bu kaynakların araştırmacılarca iyice tetkik edilmesi gerekmektedir Bu çalışmanın verileri, Başbakanlık Osmanlı Arşivindeki orijinal kaynaklar kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Söz konusu kaynaklar önce transkribe edilmiş sonra da değerlendirilerek, diğer kaynaklarla da desteklenip bu çalışma hazırlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, Osmanlı Devleti'nin Balkanlardaki bir kazası olan Gilan'ın sosyo-ekonomik ve demografik durumu ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır.

It is expected to celar up social-economical striation of district of Kosova proince whose none is Gilan in 19th century by making use of viritten income registrations and the records of the annuals of Gilan. That is the am of this study. The most im portant parts of the Ottoman history is stated as the historical developments of the cities and states. The sacial history of th cities is vital point to come inyo being on some aspects such as social developments of the country and goverment both fixed incomes and changing ncomes and the proportion of the population. The socia-economial situtaion of the otoman cities should be examined to understand the social structure and running of the Ottoman Empine. It is certan that the mort important sources of the city researehers are the chronological registetions of that period and both formal and informal written registrations. For that reason These sources are needed to be examined carefully. The data of this study are handed from the Ottoman Archives of The Office of prine mimister Archives. All of the sources are the original pnes. That is Why, at firstty, the sources are transcribed and they are all evaluated. Attle end of the researeb.
