Bu çalışmada, açık levha borulu (tube on sheet-TOS) buharlaştırıcıya sahip
dikey derin dondurucuda, soğutkan göçü ısıtma etkisinin sıcak raflar yerine soğuk
raflara yönlendirilmesi sağlanacak şekilde boru akış sıralamaları belirlenerek buzdolabı
performansına etkileri ve enerji tüketim değerleri karşılaştırılmıştır.
Buharlaştırıcı içinde akış karakterinin belirlenmesi amacıyla görselleme
çalışması yapılmıştır. Sistem performansını etkileyen en önemli uygulamalardan biri
olan kapileri-dönüş borusu hattındaki ısı değiştiricinin veriminin arttırılması amacıyla,
ısı değiştiricinin yerini ve olması gereken uzunluğunu belirleyecek parametrik deneyler
yapılmıştır. Kapileri-dönüş borusu ısı değiştiricisi yerinin ve kapileri uzunluğunun derin
dondurucu COP’sine ve kapasite-denge karakteristiğine etkileri incelenmiştir.
Yoğuşturucu pas sayısının ve pas aralıklarının sistem performansına etkileri
incelenmiştir. Derin dondurucuda diğer komponentler sabit tutulurken farklı COP’ye
sahip kompresörler kullanılarak en uygun soğutma sistemi belirlenmiştir.
Tez çalışması boyunca yapılan deneylerden elde edilen veriler analiz edilerek,
derin dondurucu buzdolabında sistemin COP değerini veren ampirik bir bağıntı elde
edilmiştir. Elde edilen bağıntı, sistemin evaporasyon ve kondansasyon sıcaklığına bağlı
olarak sistem için COP değerini vermektedir.
In this thesis project; it is aimed to decrease the energy consumption of the
product by optimizing the cooling system components starting with cooling capacity
and heat transfer performance of the evaporator. It is determined that required
optimization should be done by optimizing evaporator flow arrangement, condenser
pass quantity and distance, capillary tube length, and COP of the compressor.
In this thesis, a refrigerant flow path in order to prevent the refrigerant migration
by guiding the refrigerator to cold shelves instead of hot shelves on an upright freezer
which has a Tube-On-Sheet (TOS) evaporator has been studied and their effects on the
energy consumption values has been observed.
Flow visualization has been studied in order to determine the flow characteristic
of the refrigerant. Parametrical experiments have been carried out to determine the
length and position of the heat exchanger which is the one of the most important
applications on the capillary tube and suction pipe line. Effectiveness of the capillary
tube-suction pipe line heat exchanger on the COP of the system and capacity – balance
characteristic.
Effect of the condenser pass quantity and pass distances on the system
performance has been observed. Keeping other components in the upright freezer
constant, variety of compressors with different COP values has been used to determine
the optimum configuration of the cooling system.
An empirical correlation for the system COP of the upright freezer has been
found using the experiments conducted during the thesis study. The correlation gives
the COP value of the system with respect to the evaporation and condensation
temperatures of the system.
