This thesis deals with the numerical solution of Singularly Perturbed Differential equation using the finite element method with B-Spline functions over the geometricallygraded mesh.In the first chapter, finite element methods and Singularly Perturbed Differential equation are described. A test problem is studied about this problem. Then both graded quadratic B-spline and graded cubic B-spline functions needed in the next chapters are introduced. In the second chapter: One of the Si ngularly Perturbed Problem is solved numerically by using quadratic collocation method and cubic collocation method and numerical results are compared with the analytical solutions and each other. In the third chapter: The same problem is solved numerically by using quadratic Galerkin method and numerical results of the equation are given to compare with analytical solutions. In the fourth and fifth chapters : The Pe rturbed problem is solved numerically by using both quadratic subdomain Galerkin method and cubic subdomain Galerkin method and obtained results are co mpared with analytic ones.In the last chapter, the result obtained by using the proposed methods are discussed.
