Bu çalışmada, Cumhuriyet Türkiye’sinde Hadis alanında önemli bir çalışma olan Türkçe olarak kaleme alınan hadis şerhi örneği üzerinde duracağız. Osmanlı Devleti’nin sonunda kurulan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nde hadîs çalışmalarının yeniden başlaması açısından önemli olan, Zebidî’nin et-Tecrîdü’s-Sarîh adını verdiği bu eser Sahih-i Buhârî’nin muhtasarıdır. Tez dört bölümden oluşmaktadır.
Birinci bölümde, Buhârî (ö. 256/870)’nin, Yemenli Muhaddis Zebidî (ö. 893/1488)’nin, Tecrid’in ilk üç cildini Türkçeye çeviren ve şerheden Bâbanzâde Ahmed Nâim (1872-1934)’in ve Tecrid’in geriye kalan kısmını Türkçe’ye çevirip 12 cilt halinde şerheden Kâmil Miras (1875-1957)’ın hayatı ve eserleri incelendi.
İkinci bölümde, hadis ıstılahları arasında yer alan kavramlar üzerinde durul-du. Üzerinde inceleme yapmış olduğumuz eserde özellikle değinilen, “İhtisar”, “Câmi”, “Tecrîd” kavramlarının tanımı yapıldı. Sahîh-i Buhârî’ye yapılan Tecrîd’ler, Tecrîd-i Sarîh üzerine yapılan şerhler araştırıldı. Zebidî’nin yapmış olduğu Tecrîd’in özellikleri belirtildi.Üçüncü bölümde ise eserde izlenilen şerh yöntemi ve Türkçe’ye yapılan ter-cümenin özelliklerine değinildi. Müelliflerin, hadis’i hadis’le açıklaması, hadis’in vürûd sebebini belirtmeleri, hadis’te geçen ğarib kelime izâhları yapmaları, gramer tahlillerine yer vermeleri, fıkhî ve kelâmî konulara değinmeleri hususları ortaya ko-nuldu. Eseri Türkçe’ye tercüme tekniklerine yer verildi.
Dördüncü bölümde, Ahmed Nâim ve Kâmil Miras’ın Tecrid-i Sarîh’i şerhe-derken kullandıkları Tefsir, Kelâm, Fıkıh, İslâm Tarihi, Hadîs Usülü ve Tarihi, Ricâl İlmi ve diğer alanlardaki eserlerin adlarını ve müelliflerinin isimlerini tesbit ettik. Eserleri mümkün olduğunca kısaca tanıtmaya çalıştık
