Türk ve Alman çocuk ve gençlik edebiyatı örnek metinlerinde ''öteki'' imgesinin karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye ve Almanya'daki Çocuk ve Gençlik Edebiyatı'nda `Öteki' imgesinin karşılaştırmalı analizi yapılmıştır. Örnek metinler üzerinden her iki ülkedeki öteki konumundaki yabancıya bakış mercek altına alınmıştır. İki ülkedeki insanların birbirlerini nasıl gördükleri, birbirleri hakkındaki düşünceleri, önyargıları araştırılarak nedenleri üstüne yorumlar getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Yüzyıllar boyunca birbirleri hakkında kalıplaşan önyargıların oluşmasında edebiyat eserlerinin rolü incelenmiş çocuk ve gençlik edebiyatı açısından bunun önemine dikkat çekilmeye çalışılmıştır.Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, eserler üzerinden giderek toplumların birbirleri hakkındaki fikirleri, Almanya'ya göç eden Türklerin oluşturduğu `Türkiye ve Türk imgesi' ile yine Almanlarla birlikte yaşayan Türklerin yaşantılarını anlatan eserlerle Türklerin belleğinde yer eden `Almanya ve Alman imgesi'nin ne derecede nesnel olarak yansıtıldığını keşfetmek; birbirlerine tarih boyunca nasıl baktıklarını, aralarındaki benzer, farklı ve ortak yönlerini ortaya koymaktır.Karşılaştırmalı Edebiyat'ın verilerinden yararlanarak yapılan bu çalışmanın sonucunda çeşitli nedenlerle birbirlerini tanıma fırsatı bulan, belirli zamanlarda birlikte yaşamak zorunda kalan, iki farklı kültüre sahip insanların, yarattıkları Çocuk ve Gençlik Edebiyatı eserlerinde birbirlerini olumsuzladıkları görülmüştür. İki ülke arasında köprü görevi görerek dünya barışına hizmet etmesi gereken bu eserler genel olarak var olan önyargıları kırmak yerine, bu eserlerin, oluşan önyargıları pekiştirdikleri saptanmıştır.

This study comparatively analyzes the image of the ?Other? in the Turkish and German Children?s and Juvenile Literature. The perspective on the foreigner as the ?Other? in each country is examined through sample texts. The Turkish and the German?s views, thoughts and prejudices about each other are examined and the reasons for them are interpreted. The role of literary works in the creation of these people?s prejudices on each other existing for centuries is examined and it is tried to draw attention to the importance of this in terms of children?s and juvenile literature.The main purpose of this study is through the sample texts to explore how objectively the views of the two societies on each other, the images of `Turkey and Turkish? created by the Turkish people that migrated to Germany, and the images of ?Germany and German? kept in the back of the Turkish?s mind through literary works on the lives of the Turkish living with the German are reflected, and to reveal how they have viewed each other throughout history, and their similarities, differences and common aspects.As a result of this study that is based on the data of Comparative Literature, it is seen that these countries that had an opportunity to know each other for various reasons, that had to live together for some time, and that have different cultures negate each other in their Children?s and Juvenile Literature. It is found that the literary works that should serve the world peace by bridging the two countries reinforce the existing prejudices rather than break them.
