In the fist phase of this study, three new multiobjective mixed-integer mathematical models and two new genetic algorithms are proposed for the purpose of obtaining high-quality solutions to three types of multiobjective educational timetabling problems faced in the universities that containing important and as many as possible components. A mathematical model (first problem) is developed for course-room-timeslot scheduling problem that assigns events (course) to resources (room-timeslot). Optimum results are gained for some types of test problems. Also a random key based genetic algorithm is developed for the purpose of reaching big dimensional problems‘ solutions in a rapid way. Besides, a multi objective genetic algorithm NSGA-II is entegrated to RKGA becauseof the problem‘ multiobjective structure. An another event-resource assignment problem handeled in the study is exam-room-timeslot scheduling problem (second problem). A mixed integer mathematical model developed and the optimum soluiton isobtained for a real life problem. Invigilator assignment problem (third problem) that assigns individuals to events, relatively has not been well described and intensively worked yet as much as the other educational timetabling problems. A multi objective mixed integer modelis developed for the solution of this problem. Also,to handle the problem in a more systematic and realistic way, two different multi criteria models are developed to determine the parameters and the objective weights of the problem. A web based decision support system (DSS) is designed to solve all above problems. The user interfaces where the user preference and restrictions are collected and where the related data enteries are done, and the model base where the related models and algorithms for solving the problems are located in the DSS.
