6. sınıf matematik öğretim programında işbirliğine dayalı öğrenme yönteminin kullanılabilirliğine ilişkin öğretmen görüşleri

Abstract

Varolan kosullar içerisinde daha islevsel matematik dersi öğretim programlarının düzenlenebilmesi için öğretim süreçlerinde kullanılan yöntemlerden hangilerinin daha etkili olacağının saptanmasına ve buna bağlı olarak basarıyı arttırıcı önlemlerin alınmasına ihtiyaç vardır. Bu arastırma, 2006-2007 öğretim yılında uygulamaya konulan ilköğretim 6. sınıf matematik öğretim programında isbirliğine dayalı öğrenme yönteminin (Đ.D.Ö.Y) kullanılabilirliğine iliskin öğretmen görüslerini belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Arastırmanın örneklemini, Eskisehir ili merkez ilçesinde bulunan ilköğretim okullarında görev yapmakta olan ve 6. sınıfları okutan matematik öğretmenleri arasından rastlantısal olarak seçilen 101 matematik öğretmeni olusturmaktadır. Arastırma betimsel nitelikte olup, arastırmayla ilgili veriler tarama yoluyla toplanmıstır. Verilerin toplanması asamasında arastırmacı tarafından gelistirilen veri toplama aracı kullanılmıstır. Toplanan verilerin çözümlenmesinde yüzde ve frekans hesaplamaları yapılmıs, Mann-Whitney U ve Kruskal Wallis testinden yararlanılmıstır. Arastırma sonuçlarına göre, öğretmenlerin 6. sınıf matematik öğretim programında Đ.D.Ö.Y.’ün kullanılabilirliğine iliskin görüsleri arasında cinsiyet ve meslekteki hizmet süresi değiskenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmadığı; mezun olunan kurum, Đ.D.Ö.Y.’le ilgili hizmet içi eğitim alma, 6. sınıf matematik öğretim programıyla ilgili hizmet içi eğitim alma ve matematikle ilgili yayın izleme durumlarına göre ise anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu belirlenmistir.

It is necessary to determine which methods, which were used in educational period, would be more effective and in the base of it to have precautions to rebound the success to construct a more effective mathematics curricula in the current conditions. This research aims to determine the teachers’ opinions about the employability of cooperative learning method in 6th grade mathematics curricula which started to being applied in the education year of 2006-2007. The sample of the research consists of 101 6th grade mathematics teachers who were randomly selected from the primary schools of center town of Eskisehir. The research is descriptive and skipping collected the data of research. The data collection tool prepared by the researcher was used to collecting data. Percentage and frequency calculations were done and benefited from the tests of Mann- Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis in the process of data analysis. It was found that there are no significant difference in terms of the variables of gender and profession times of teachers, but there are significant differences in terms of the variables of the school the person graduated, having education about the cooperative learning method, having education about the 6th grade mathematics curricula and being interested in the editions about mathematics.
