İslamofobi, çok uzun yıllar boyunca toplumlar arası etkileşimlerin bir
tezahürü olarak ortaya çıkan Batı kaynaklı bir zenofobinin İslam dini üzerinden
tanımlanmış halidir. Bu araştırmada, daha çok Batı toplumlarında görülen
islamofobinin Türkiye gibi nüfusunun büyük çoğunluğunu Müslümanların
oluşturduğu laik bir ülkede, ortaya çıkmış olabilecek islamofobik hareketlerin siyasal
söylemler tarafından nasıl şekillendiği açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Türkiye’de
islamofobinin var olup olmadığı eğer varsa ne düzeyde var olduğu ve islamofobinin
siyasal söylem içerisinde ne şekilde yer edindiğini açıklığa kavuşturma amacıyla ele
alınan bu çalışmada içerik çözümlenmesi ve yıldız falı analizi tekniğinden
faydalanılmıştır. Ayrıca literatürde daha önce siyasal anlamda Türkiye’de islamofobi
üzerine yapılmış bir çalışma olmaması açısından, bu araştırmanın islamofobi
literatürüne yeni bir katkı sağlaması hedeflenmiştir.
Çalışma, giriş ve sonuç bölümleri hariç olmak üzere dört ana bölümden
oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde kavramsal çerçeve bağlamında siyasal söylem ve
islamofobi hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise islamofobi; bir olgu olarak
ele alınmış, islamofobinin tarihsel kökenleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Üçüncü
bölümde islamofobinin ideolojik boyutu incelenmiş ve siyasal İslam ile bir kıyasa
tabii tutulmuştur. Son bölümde ise Cumhuriyetin ilanı ile kurulan modern
Türkiye’nin ihtilafları ortaya konmuş ve milat olarak kabul edilen 2010 tarihinden
itibaren Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi ile Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi’nin 2018’e kadar
yaptıkları genel seçim sonrası konuşmaları ve parti grup toplantılarındaki söylevleri
analiz edilmiştir
Islamophobia is the definition of a Western zenophobia, which has emerged
for many years as a manifestation of inter-communal interactions. In this study, it is
aimed to explain Islamophobia which is mostly seen in western society and how
Islamophobic movements that may have emerged in a secular country, where the
majority of the population is composed of Muslims is shaped by political discourse.
In a predominantly Muslim country, such as Turkey. In the present study content and
horoscope analysis were utilized to clarify whether Islamophobia exists in Turkey. If
it exists which level and how Islamophobia is involved in political discourse. In
addition, it is aimed that this research will contribute to the Islamophobia literature in
terms of the absence of a study on Islamophobia in Turkey.
The study consists of four main sections, except the entrance and conclusion
sections. The first part provides information about political discourse and
Islamophobia in the context of conceptual framework. In the second part,
Islamophobia is considered as a phenomenon and information about the historical
origins of Islamophobia is given. In the third part, the ideological dimension of
Islamophobia was examined and subjected to a comparison with political Islam. In
the last section, the conflicts of modern Turkey, which was established by the
proclamation of the Republic, were revealed and the speeches of the Justice and
Development Party and the Republican People's Party until 2018 and the speeches of
the party group meetings were analyzed from the date of 2010
