Postmodern perspektiften sanat ve felsefede tekerrür

Abstract

Bu tezde, sanat ve felsefenin geçmişten günümüze ayrılmaz birlikteliğinden hareket edilerek bir kavram olarak seçilen tekerrür üzerinden bu iki disiplinin postmodern durumda birbirini besleyip beslemediği ele alınmıştır. Fotoğrafın icadıyla başlayan kopyaların sonsuz çoğaltılabilirliği, sanat ortamında hazır-nesne kullanımı, sanayi devrimiyle başlayan seri üretim çağı ve dolayısıyla aşırı üretim; ayrıca, simülasyon teknolojileriyle hayatın büyük bir bölümünü kaplayan ekranlar gibi fenomenlerde kavramsal açıdan tekrar ve temsillerle karşılaşılması böyle bir araştırmayı gerekli kılmıştır. Böylelikle, bu çalışmada, postmodern sanat üretimi yaklaşımlarında ve postmodern felsefede “tekerrür” kavramının işlenişi üzerinde durulmuştur. Tekrar ile ortaya çıkan fark, geçici aynılıklar, tekrar oluşlar ve döngüleri tanımlayan tekerrür kavramı, modernizmden postmodernizme evrilen çerçevede incelenerek bahsedilen durumun, günden güne ‘post’laşan teknolojisindeki ya da flulaşan sınırlarındaki üretimlerde karşılığı aranmıştır. Modern sonrası süreç içerisinde sanat ve felsefe alanlarında literatür taraması yapılarak ulaşılan veriler bu tezin oluşmasına zemin hazırlamıştır. Çalışma sürecinde, postmodern sanat üretimi yaklaşımları içerisinde tekerrürün kendine geniş bir zemin bulduğu bilgisine ulaşılmasının yanı sıra postmodern felsefede, düşünürlerin metinlerinde de bu kavramın farklı açılardan değerlendirildiği görülmüştür. Bu bağlamda, Friedrich Nietzsche’nin Ebedi Dönüşü, iii Gilles Deleuze’ün Fark Felsefesi ve Jean Baudrillard’ın Simülasyon kuramı ile tekerrür kavramı arasında güçlü ilişkilerin bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, sanat ve felsefe ilişkisi içerisinde değerlendirilen tekerrür, meydana getirilen bir video çalışmasıyla desteklenerek bu üretimin biçim, anlam ve analizine yer verilmiştir

This thesis discusses whether these two disciplines feed each other in the postmodern state through the repetition chosen as a concept based on the inseparable unity of art and philosophy from past to present. Endless reproducibility of copies starting with the invention of photography, the use of ready-object in the art environment, the era of mass production starting with the industrial revolution, and therefore overproduction as well as the conceptual repetition and representation of phenomena such as screens that cover a large part of life with simulation technologies made this research necessary. Thus, this research studies the concept of "repetition" in postmodern art production approaches and postmodern philosophy. The concept of recurrence, which defines the difference, temporary identities, re-occurrences and cycles that occur with repetition, has been examined in the framework evolving from modernism to postmodernism, and the equivalent of the situation in question has been sought in productions in 'post' technology or fluctuating boundaries. The data obtained by reviewing the literature in the fields of art and philosophy in the post-modern period established the ground for the formation of this thesis. Throughout the study, it was learned that repetition found a wide ground within the postmodern art production approaches. In addition, it was seen that this concept was evaluated from different perspectives in the texts of thinkers in v postmodern philosophy. In this context, it has been determined that there are strong relationships between Friedrich Nietzsche's Eternal Return, Gilles Deleuze's Philosophy of Difference, and Jean Baudrillard's Simulation theory and the concept of repetition. In addition, the repetition, evaluated in the relationship between art and philosophy, is supported by a video work created, and the form, meaning and analysis of this production are included
