vi
kavuşmak gibi gerekçelerle icra edilen göç, böylece hedef ülke içerisinde farklı
zorlukların başlamasına neden olur.
Bu çalışmada Fakir Baykurt’un “Koca Ren”, Jamal Mahjoub’un “Cinlerle
Yolculuk” ve Mohsin Hamid’in “Gönülsüz Köktendinci” adlı eserleri, karşılaştırmalı
sarf edilecektir. Her iki haletin arka planında hangi faktörlerin yer aldığı ortaya
konulacaktır
Immigration is one of the important subjects in the history of humanity, which
continues its influence and power in the modern period. Especially, technological
opportunities have made the world a village and made it possible for everyone to easily
and quickly reach the knowledge about all places. This leads to inequality in the
distribution of welfare and earnings among the countries of the world. Although some
societies have all kinds of opportunities for living standards, while others cannot provide
their daily food needs. While some countries have a peaceful, happy and peaceful
internal structure, some states suffer from the chaos, distress and depression caused by
problems such as war and internal conflict. Thus, many such factors force modern
people to find a solution and this leads to individual and intensive mass immigration.
Migration, which is human in its centre and expresses spatial displacement, is
not a process that starts with intent, shows the willingness action and ends with falling
into the roads. This action leads to different problems with reaching the target lands. In
particular, many cultural, social, economic and religious factors are one of the most
significant problems for the immigrant. Therefore, immigration for reasons such as
getting rid of the troubles and having a happier life results in different problems starting
within the target country. Therefore, immigrating for having a better and happier life
viii
and overcome the troubles results in different problems starting within the target
country.
In the current study Fakir Baykurt’s “Koca Ren”, Jamal Mahjoub’s “Traveling
With Djinns” and Mohsin Hamid’s “The Reluctant Fundamentalist’’ named works will
be analyzed by using sociological and historical analysis methods within the framework
of comparative literature. In this way, the problems experienced by the characters in
these three novels will be examined. In this context, it will be aimed to determine what
kind of difficulties the cultural, social, religious differences of the characters confront
them in the society they are living in and what kind of approaches they target. It is also
aimed to investigate the impact of the cultural, social differences of the environment on
the characters and what kind of changes they have experienced. The factors that are
present in the back ground will be discussed and detailed for both topics
