Zorlu yaşam olayları ve dini başa çıkma hz Eyüp, hz Yusuf, hz Yunus örneği

Abstract

Kutsal kitaplar zorlu yaşam olayları ile karşılaşmış bireylerin başa çıkma sürecine pek çok açıdan destek sağlayıcı mesajlar ve örnekler içerir. Yaşanmış başa çıkma yöntemlerini barındıran bu örnekler, kriz durumunda benzer sorunlar yaşayan inançlı bireyler için rehber konumundadır. Bu doğrultuda bu çalışmada kutsal kitaplarda yer alan Hz. Eyüp, Hz. Yusuf, Hz. Yunus kıssaları üzerinden başa çıkma metotları sırasıyla incelendi. Öncelikle bireyin kutsal kabul ettiği kaynakların olaylara yüklediği anlamı araştırıldı, hem dindar bireyin olaylara ortak bakışı hem de peygamberlerin olaylara yüklediği anlam belirtildi. Böylece yaşanan olumsuz olaylar karşısındaki davranışsal tepkilerin sebepleri ortaya çıkarılmış oldu. Çalışma sonucunda Peygamberlerin dini inanç ve uygulamalarının başa çıkma sürecine etkileri ve bunları uygulama şekillerine ulaşıldı. vi Nitel olarak yapılan çalışmanın birinci bölümünde kutsal kaynaklarda dini başa çıkma ile ilişkili kavramlar ve din psikolojisi literatüründeki dini başa çıkma kavramlarının açıklaması yapıldı. Hz. Eyüp, Hz. Yusuf ve Hz. Yunus’un hayat hikâyelerinin de yer aldığı ikinci bölümde peygamberlerin başa çıkma süreçlerindeki bilişsel ve davranışsal tepkiler işlendi. Aynı bölüm içinde içerik analizi tekniği ile olaylar ve olayların sonucunda kullanılan dini başa çıkma yöntemleri yorumlandı. Duyguların düzenlenmesi ve problemlerin çözümünde gösterilen bilişsel ve davranışsal tepkilerin bütününü ifade eden başa çıkma sürecinde Hz. Eyyüp, Hz. Yusuf, Hz. Yunus Peygamberin örnekliği, olayların anlaşılması ve kavranması dini başa çıkma literatürüne büyük bir katkı sağlayacaktır

Religious books include supporting messages and examples of individuals’ coping process from many perspectives for those who confront challenging life events. Accordingly in this study coping methods of Eyup, Yusuf and Yunus (mercy be upon them) are analyzed respectively on the basis of their stories from the holy books. Those examples having coping strategies of true life stories are a reference for the believers who go through similar difficulties in a crisis situation. First of all the meaning over the events of references which a person accepts holy are studied, both the common perspective of religious people to the events and the attribution to the events of the meaning of the prophets are mentioned. Thus the reasons for behavioral reactions to the negative events are found out. At the end of the story the effects of the beliefs and the practises of the prophets’ on the coping process and their forms of practise are found out. In the first part of the qualitative study the concepts about the religious coping in the holy references and the explanation of religious coping concepts in psychological viii literature are made. In the second part in which we have the life stories of Eyup, Yusuf and Yunus prophets (mercy be upon them) the behavioral and cognitive reactions of the prophets’ coping process are studied. In the same part the events and the religious coping methods used at the end of the events are inferred via content analyzing technique. The examples of Eyup, Yusuf and Yunus prophets’ (mercy be upon them) behavioral and cognitive reactions to the coping process with the regulation of feelings and solving the problems are holistic and the understanding and comprehension of those events will make a big contribution to the religious coping literature
