durumundaki doğa ve ruh temelli inanç evresi ile tarım sonrası ana tanrıça evresi;
In the present study in which we act with reference to the thought that
philosophy exists in everywhere that human being lives, myths are excepted as the
pre-systematic philosophical forms of ontological thinking. Although the systematic
philosophy history starts with the nature philosophers of antiquity, human has asked
the same philosophical questions from primitive ages to present. In the primitive
ages, the answered that found for these questions has been with religious forms. So it
is not possible to conceive myths independently of philosophy and if considered in
this perspective myths will also give us the philosophy of their ages. This study will
introduce the map of an intellectual evolution in the line of myth, religion,
philosophy and science, and will focus on the archaic thought that has been ignored
until today in this evolutionary period.
The developmental phases of archaic thoughts, that is, myths will be divided
into two basic stages: the Dionysiac thinking phase of human in nature position and
the Apollonic thinking phase of human in culture position. The Dionysiac phase is
the nature and spirit based in nature state and the mother goddess phase after
agriculture; the Apollonic phase is the phase of gods under the domination of
masculine mind. In this study, it is targeted to analyze the transmission between
these mythic thought phases and the intellectual changes that it caused, subject object relations in mythic thought, and the transformation of consciousness from
concrete thought to abstract thought by the examples from myths
