LCMF in ana özellikleri arasında, Lateral kurusun
alt ve üst sınırlarını birlikte koruması, kıkırdağı orta kesiminden desteklenmesi ve
Scroll Ligamenti hasar vermemesi olarak sayabiliriz. Çalışmaya dahil edilen tüm
hastalar önceden burun operasyonu geçirmemiş bireylerden seçilmişlerdir. Çalışma
tasarımında, araştırmadan bağımsız uzman hekimlerin değerlendirilmesi ve ameliyat
olmuş hastaların yanıtladığı testler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu testler arasında SCHNOS
(Standardized Cosmesis and Health Nasal Outcomes Survey) testi, Nazal Pinch
This Retrospective study was
carried out in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at
Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine between November 2019 and March 2020.
In this study, were compared 15 patients performed with Open Rhinoplasty with
Lateral Crural Mid-down Flap (LCMF) technique and 15 patients with the control
group Cephalic Excision (CE) technique. The LCMF technique is an Alar cartilage
forming flap that developed and planned by our clinic. In our literature searches, we
did not find the method similar to this technique. Among the main features of LCMF,
Lateral crus Flour protects lower and upper limits together, support from the middle
part of cartilage and Scroll Ligament is not damaged. All patients included in the study
were selected from individuals who have not previously had a nose operation. In the
study design, the evaluation of specialist physicians independent of the research and
the tests answered by the patients who had surgery were performed. These tests include
the SCHNOS (Standardized Cosmesis and Health Nasal Outcomes Survey) test, the
Nasal Pinch Rating Scale, and the Visual Analog Scale-GAS (Visual Analog Scale VAS). We get the result that the patient group, who used the LCMF technique is better
than the CE group results about visually and functionally. LCMF It is protected from
collapsing the nose wing in the nasal air flow. As a result, LCMF is a new technique
to shape the nose-wing cartilage and stands out with its more anatomical approach.
Especially cartilage support and Scroll ligament protection are important advantages
of this technique
