Çarpıtma (Dynamic Time Warping, DTW) gibi dönüşüm yöntemleriyle verilerdeki ani
With advancement of production and computer technologies, maximizing
productivity, minimizing errors , and even predicting them before they occur with machine
learning technologies gained an attraction. DataDriven Fault Diagnosis approaches have
emerged as a solution to these issues. By using sensor data acquired from monitored
system, possible malfunctions can be predicted and diagnosed in advance. In manufacturing
systems with more than one component performing a similar task, fleetbased management
approaches have been developed for anomaly detection and fault diagnosis.
In this study, a fleetbased condition monitoring approach and an application has
been developed for a datadriven fault diagnosis system. Most of the artificial
intelligencebased techniques for fault detection are implemented locally on a machine. For
datadriven supervised fault prediction and diagnosis techniques most of the time large
historical data sets are needed for high accuracy and performance. Due to this requirement,
the machine must be operated for a long time to collect data. Therefore, the process of
creating a data set might be costly. However, a fleetbased monitoring system approach
based on similarity comparisons can be established if there are similar systems at hand. In
such a fleet method, there is no need for large historical data sets, and anomalies are
determined by taking into account the need for similarities of the machine components in
the fleet when operating under similar conditions. The work developed for fleet
management in this thesis is developed as webbased, and promising results are obtained on
four different test data that include machinery and bearings faults. In this study, based on
the nature of sensor signal being examined data is preprocessed utilizing different
transforming techniques such as Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and similarities of the
signals among each other are compared via Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) utilizing
different measurement metrics such as Euclidean, Square Euclidean, Menhattan Distance
etc. By obtaining distance based metric information, similar systems are clustered via
Hierarchical Clustering algorithm. Anomaly scores are calculated for each component
utilizing the results of clustering. Our results show that , faulty machines or bearing differs
from healthy members of the fleet can be detected utilizing this approach
