Elmalılı M. Hamdi Yazır’ın yaratılış ile ilgili düşüncesini “Hak Dini Kur’an
atayı benimseyen evrim teorisini reddederek, her türün kendi tohumundan
verdiği ve ruhundan üflediği Âdem’i yarattığını belirtir.
When we examine Elmalılı M. Hamdi Yazır’s toughts about creation in the
context of his tafsir called “Hak Dini Kur’an Dili” we see that it is based on the
theory of creation from nothing . He says that Almighty Allah created the world and
all the beings in it from nothing, then created placed his laws after rising above
heavens and that the world continues in this graduality and continuity. Accepting the
causality on the world, Elmalılı emphasizes that this causality is realized again by the
will of Allah.
Using tradition and science together in subjects such as the creation of the
earth and the sky, their adjacent and separations, the creation of first of the earth,
then the layers and sky, Elmalılı draws attention to the gradual law in the creation
process of the world. He adopts evolutionist law of creation regarding the creation of
living things. He rejects the theory of evolution, which accepts the common ancestor
and transition between species, but instead admits that each species evolved from its
own seed. He states that with the law, which he calls the selection law, the human
develops until he becomes the most perfect with a continuous selection and selection,
and that he creates Adam, whom he decided as the last point and breathed his soul
into him. He states that all humanity continues from Adam and his wife and he was
chosen as the caliph to inhabit this created universe. He presents the subjects he has
explained to his readers in a highly eclectic and original way, intermingling with the
data of Greek philosophy, Islamic philosophy and science, his previous interpretative
