Hatta onun
tasavvufî görüşlerinin temelinde mürşid-i kâmil, velâyet, ilâhi aşk ve vahdet-i
Laʽlîzâde Abdülbâkî is a Turkish mystic who lived in the Ottoman Empire
in the 17th and 18th centuries. He is a sufi who grew up in a Bayramî-Melâmî
environment and belonged to the Müceddidiyye branch of the Naqshbandi.
The period in which Laʽlîzâde Abdülbâkî lived was a period of economic,
political, military and social problems. In this period, Laʽlîzâde Abdülbâkî
revealed the mystical ideas and principles of Bayramî-Melâmîs and the
Naqshis, which had deep traces in the Ottoman society, and enlightened his
environment and contributed to the mystical life.
When the mystical views of Laʽlîzâde Abdülbâkî are taken into
consideration, it is seen that his views are largely influenced by the views of
Ibn al-Arabi and he also agrees with the views of the Bayramî-Melâmî. In fact,
it is possible to say that the basis of his mystical views is the perfect murshid,
santhood, divine love and wahdat-i wujud. He adopted a system of education
based on love and a mystical contemplation rather than a simple zuhd.
According to him, divine love is the shortest way to God and the truth.
In this study, the life, works and Sufistic views of Laʽlîzâde Abdülbâkî,
who is both Melâmi and Nakşi, were tried to be explained
