Tez
çalışmasının ilk bölümünde enformel eğitim sistemleri anlatılmaktadır. Bu esnek yapılar
içerisinde öğrenciler not kaygısı olmadan, sürece dâhil olmakta ve özgürce düşünerek
Architecture education; unlike other education disciplines, creative thinking and
thought systems are transfered, taught, experience needs environments. The architecture
education system, Which is basically prepared and implemented within the framework of a
formal education program and systematic framework, can be carried out within the
framework of certain limitations. These limitations are among the important issues in
recent scientific researches and discussions in the field of architecture education, where
situations and environments can be created that prevent the students from thinking flexibly.
Informal education programs provide an important contribution to architecture and
design education as interdisciplinary environments that encourage the student to think
flexibly and can move more freely. Informal structures consist of lone working areas such
as workshops, competitions, biennials, festivals and summer schools. In the first part of
thesis study, informal education systems are explained. Within these flexible structures, the
students can be involved in the process and make production thinking freely without any
grade anxiety. The main objective of this thesis is to discuss these characteristics of
informal structures and to determine the learning outcomes.
In line with this target, the main objective of this study is to investigate the
contribution and acquisitions of informal structures with increasing participation in
architectural education besides formal education in recent years through the sample of the
Bademlik Design Festival in architecture/design environment. Bademlik Design Festival
which is organized by the students of Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Department of
Architecture Design Club, had been analysed as an informal structure. With the survey
conducted in 2018, it was discussed that informal structure experiences could be
determined and this structure system could create an infrastructure for a model that could
be developed as a training approach. This thesis work in the field of informal education can
be regarded as an important example of a fully student-centered management , control, and
application of the BTF system, the contribution of architectural education to develop a new
architecture that can be used to interrogate and education approach for the future content,
scope and approaches for assessment and recommendations
