Günümüzde ihtiyaç kavramı değişerek, gereksinimlerin sosyal, psikolojik,
ekonomik ve kişisel faktörler tarafından belirlendiği bir süreç haline gelmiştir.
Farklılaşan tüketim anlayışıyla birlikte klasik ihtiyacı belirleme süreci dönüşüme
uğrayarak; kullanımdaki mevcut ürünlerin işlevsellik ve performansları ihtiyaçları
karşılamasına rağmen, bir üst modelin piyasaya sürülmesiyle birlikte yeni ürünün
satın alınması yoluna gidilmiştir. Yeni ürün satın alma veya mevcut ürünün yenisi ile
değiştirilmesinde öncü etken olan teknoloji hızla gelişirken, günlük ve iş hayatında
yoğun bir şekilde kullanılan kitle iletişim araçları da bu gelişimden önemli oranda
etkilenmiştir. Bu çalışmada, tüketicileri yeni bir akıllı telefon satın almaya yönelten
etkenlerin neler olduğu, değişen tüketici davranışlarının gelmiş olduğu son noktayla
birlikte oluşan tüketim tercihleri analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma evrenini Ankara ilinde
yaşayan 18 yaş üstü akıllı telefon kullanıcıları oluşturmaktadır. Anketler basit
tesadüfi örnekleme yolu ile 392 kişiye uygulanmıştır ve anketin güvenilirlik oranı
%92 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda akıllı telefon satın almaya
yönelten etkenler marka sadakati, müşteri memnuniyeti, kullanım kolaylığı, marka
imajı, kalite ve fiyat olarak belirlenmiş, kurulan hipotezlerle oluşturulan model
desteklenmiş ve sadece teknik özellikler değişkeni kabul görmemiştir
Today, by changing the concept of need, it has become a process where
requirements are determined by social, psychological, economic and personal
factors. With the concept of differentiating consumption, the process of defining the
classical need has been transformed; Although the functionality and performance of
existing products in use meet the needs, the purchase of the new product was made
with the introduction of a new model. While the technology, which is the pioneer in
buying new products or replacing the existing product with a new product, is
developing rapidly, the mass media which are used intensively in daily and business
life have been affected by this development significantly. In this study, the factors
that led consumers to purchase a new smartphone were analyzed and the
consumption preferences formed with the end point of changing consumer behavior
were analyzed. The study population consists of smartphone users over the age of 18
living in Ankara. The questionnaires were applied to 392 people by simple sampling
and the reliability rate of the questionnaire was 92%. As a result of the study, brand
loyalty, customer satisfaction, ease of use, brand image, quality and price of the
factors that led to the purchase of smart phones were determined, the model formed
by the hypotheses supported was supported and only the technical features variable
was not accepted
