kitaplarına göre daha hatalı buldukları ortaya çıkmıştır. 6. ve 7. sınıf ders kitaplarının;
The research was made about the curriculum, national and international
examination results brought up that there is deficiency in the curriculum. To eliminate
that deficiency, it’s needed a new primary school curriculum. Mathematics lesson
curriculum for primary school which has started to be applied from 2006-2007
education year brought extended changes to the content of the lesson. Depending on the
change in the curriculum, textbooks have been prepared again.

according to the curriculum. All the data in this research was collected from primary
school Maths teachers who work in Bursa, İnegöl, town centre and villages in 2007-
2008 education year. Sixty Maths teachers who work in İnegöl composed the sample of
the research. The questionnaire used as data collecting material was prepared and
applied to the teachers by researcher. To analyse the data it was benefited from
descriptives, t-test and one_way ANOVA.
According to the results of research, it’s appeared that the teachers thought 6th and
7th grades coursbooks have lack of content, questions are insufficient and easy,
questions in exercices and questions in evaluation parts don’t overlap each other, lesson
hours are insufficient and the textbooks don’t correspond to multiple choice question
style. It’s determined that the most admirable two parts of 6th and 7th grades
coursebooks are visual and figural features and the least admirable two parts are
supplementary materials, exercises and evaluation part. At the end of the research it was
made suggestion about the subject.
