In this study, two different cold flowing post-discharge plasma reactors which allow to generate discharge and post-discharge plasma both low and atmospheric pressure were designed and produced in Cold Plasma Laboratory, Eskişehir Osmangazi University. The cold flowing post-discharge plasma production reactor at low pressure was formed by three separate vacuum chambers connected to each other. Plasma discharges were generated in the vacuum chambers with the high voltage generated between the aluminum electrodes using alternating current power supplies for different types of gas sent into the reactor. In the interaction reactor (post-discharge chamber) located in the middle of the reactor, the interactions of the post-discharges of discharge plasmas produced in the electric field were optically examined for four different gas species using helium, argon, oxygen and atmospheric air. The optical properties of cold flowing post-discharge plasmas at low pressure were determined from the obtained emission spectrums. In the cold flowing post-discharge plasma reactor at atmospheric pressure (plasma jet), the plasma discharge was removed between the electro-chemically sharpened needle electrode and the ground electrode. Optimum condition parameters such as applied voltage, frequency and gas flow rate of this reactor which is very economical in terms of cost and design were determined. Then atmospheric pressure cold plasma jet production without any electrical and thermal damage was carried out in the human body. The optical properties of neutrals, excited atoms and molecules in the post-discharge plasma were determined by optical emission spectrums of cold flowing atmospheric pressure post-discharge (plasma jet) produced using helium and argon gases. During the experimental studies, changes in the discharge and post-discharge plasmas produced at both low and atmospheric pressure were observed by changing parameters such as voltage, frequency, gas type and gas flow rate. As a result of these observations, the changes in two different reactors have been examined optically.
