Önerilen çözüm yöntemleri üç farklı KDHKP’i üzerinde denenmiştir ve optimal yakıt
In this thesis the short term hydrothermal coordination problem (STHCP) is solved
by using the modified subgradient algorithm based on feasible values (F-MSG). STHCP is
a nonlinear constrained optimization problem where the optimal power generations of all
thermal and hydraulic units are determined in order to supply the energy demand of a
power system with the lowest fuel cost. Two different iterative solutions are developed and
applied to solve the problem. In the first solution method, the F-MSG algorithm is used to
solve the dispatch problem in each subinterval while the pseudo water price for the
hydraulic unit is employed to regulate the amount of water spent by it during the
considered operation period. The second solution method is an iterative one whose single
iteration is made up of two steps. In the first step, only the active generations of all units in
the operation period are determined by using the actual active loss determined in the
previous iteration. In the second step, hydro generations found in the first step are kept
constant and the exact model of the power system is used in each subinterval. All reactive
generations and active generations of thermal units in the corresponding subintervals are
determined one by one. The F-MSG method is employed to solve the optimization
problems of both steps. The proposed solution algorithms are tested on three different
STHCPs and better results are obtained in terms of optimal fuel cost values and solution
time values.
