Bu çalışmada argon gazı plazma jet üretimi incelenmiştir. On farklı elektrot
düzenlenişinde on farklı argon plazma jet üretimi gerçekleştirilmiştir.
Argon
plazma jet uzun süre kağıt üzerine uygulanarak da yüzey üzerine ısı etkisi aktarmadığı
gösterilmiştir. İğne elektrot argon plazma jeti kendi elim üzerine 15 dakikadan fazla bir süre
uyguladığımda gözle görülür bir fiziksel zarar meydana gelmediği gözlemlenmiştir.
In this thesis, argon plasma jet generation are investigated. Ten different argon
plasma jet productions are carried out in the regulations of ten different electrodes. Pyrex
and borosilicate glass tubes and copper pipes are used in different thicknesses for argon gas
plasma jet generation. Different anode and cathode electrodes are placed in and out of these
tubes used to emit the argon gas. Electrical voltage is applied to the regulations of ten
different electrodes with 18 kV and 15 kHz alternating current power supply after the argon
gas is transmitted. Argon gas plasma jets are produced in lengths ranging from 0.5 cm to 7
cm. The variation of the plasma jet length at different flow rates of argon gas are investigated
in the plasma jet system using needle electrode and the plasma jet system using double
copper electrode on fine pyrex glass tube. The plasma jet system produced by placing a
multi-needle electrode on copper pipe is completely original. Using multiple borosilicate
glass tubes, a large number of plasma jets can be produced with one power source and one
gas flow. In this way, a method for plasma jet application in a large area has been tried by
producing a large number of jets in the same region with a single power source. Argon
plasma jet on glass and copper surface has been shown to increase adhesion on the surfaces.
It has been shown that argon plasma jet does not transfer heat on the surface by applying it
on paper for a long time. It has been observed that the needle electrode does not show any
visible physical demage when I apply argon plasma jet for more than 15 minutes on my hand
skin.
