Feżâʾil-i Ḫulefâ-i Râşidîn ve Ḫaṣâʾil-i Çehâr-yâr-ı Güzîn Hacı Abdî tarafından XVI. yüzyılda yazılmıştır. Kaynaklarda Hacı Abdî’nin hayatına ve eserlerine dair bilgi bulunmamaktadır. Bununla birlikte aynı yüzyıl içerisinde yaşamış, tarihi olaylar ve mekan açısından uygunluk gösteren Abdî mahlaslı birkaç şair bulunmaktadır. Bunun için bu şairlerden çalışmamızda söz etmeyi uygun gördük. Dört halîfenin fazîletleri ve güzel sıfatlarının anlatıldığı bu eser mesnevî nazım şekliyle yazılmıştır. Dört halîfenin vasıflarının anlatılması sebebiyle hilye özelliği taşır. Yine eserde dört halîfe hakkındaki menkıbevî hikâyelere de yer verilmiştir. Eserin sonunda bir de Hz. Fâtıma mevlidi yer almaktadır. Eserde, “Faṣlu fî İṣbâtı Ḫilâfeti Ebû Bekir bi’l-Kitâb-ı ve’s-Sünneti ve İctimâʿi’l-Ümmeti” başlığı altında Hz. Ebûbekir’in fazîletleri ve onun etrafında gelişen menkıbevi hikâyelere “Ḥikâyet-i Uḫrâ” adı altında yer verilmiştir. Hz. Ömer, Hz. Osmân ve Hz. Ali için de aynı başlıklarla onların özellikleri ve hikâyeleri anlatılmıştır. Elimizdeki nüsha olan Leipzig Üniversitesi cod Turc 55 numaradaki nüsha dışında eserin farklı bir nüshası saptanamamıştır. Ancak Ankara Milli kütüphane’de bir mecmua içerisinde farklı birkaç bölüm ile birlikte eserin Hz. Fâtıma bölümünden itibaren sonuna kadar olan kısmı yer almaktadır. Biz, XVI. yüzyılda yazıldığını eserde geçen tarih beyitinden anladığımız bu eseri tanıtırken ilgili kısımları M.K.’deki yarım nüsha ile edisyon kritik yaparak vermeyi uygun gördük. Eser XVI. yüzyıl Osmanlı Türkçesinin dil özelliklerini içermesinin yanında Eski Anadolu Türkçesinin özelliklerini de yansıtmaktadır. Eserin dili anlaşılır olmasına rağmen yer yer yazım, imla ve vezin hatâlarına da rastlanmaktadır. 2144 beyitlik bu eser “Ḥamdulillâh ol Ḫuẕâ-yı müsteʿân / Ẕât-ı pâkini bize ḳıldı ʿayân” beyitiyle başlamış olup, “Ḫatm olındı bunlaruñla bu kitâb / Söz temam vaʾllâhu aʿlem bi'ṣ-ṣavâb” beyitiyle son bulmaktadır.
The Virtues of the Four Rightful Successors of the Holy Prophet and the Characters of the Four Distinguished Beloved Ones is the name of a masterpiece written by the pseudonym of Hacı Abdî in the 16th century. It is unfortunate that no information is available on the life of this mysterious Islamic writer. However, there are known to be a couple of writers who lived in the same century and used the same pseudonym. Interestingly enough, there are remarkable consistencies between the historical events of the lives and the locations of these writers who were contemporaries to each other. With this in mind, these writers have been included in this study. This work of art, in which the amazing characters and admirable virtues of the four rightful successors of the Holy Prophet are recounted, is a masnavi written in the form a poem. This work is also acknowledged as having a feature of hilya due to recounting the attributes of the four companions. At the end of this book is the birth and life story of Fâtıma, the dearest daughter of the Prophet. With the title of “The proofs for the eligibility of Abu-Bakr for being the caliphate in light of the Holy Qur’an and sunna (traditions) of the Prophet and unanimity of the Muslim community”, this books relates the characters of Abu-Bakr and the events of his time in the form of anecdotes. Also, there are some short stories mentioned in this book under the heading of “Successive Stories”, which also mentions the stories of Ali, Omar and Othman. No other copies of this book are available other than the copy we obtained from Leipzig University (labelled as Turc 55). However, there is a journal in The National Library in Ankara, Turkey, which includes a section in which the beloved Fatima’s birth and life story is related, with a few modifications from the book examined in the present study. These modifications are mentioned in this paper with a critical viewpoint. This book exhibits the influence of Old Anatolian Turkish. Although it was written in an unambiguous and simple language, there are typos here and there. Consisting of 2144 couplets, this work begins with “Ḥamdulillâh ol Ḫuẕâ-yı müsteʿân / Ẕât-ı pâkini bize ḳıldı ʿayân” and ends with “Ḫatm olındı bunlaruñla bu kitâb / Söz temam vʾAllâhu aʿlem bi'ṣ-ṣavâb”

Bu çalışmada Ziryab figürünün Endülüs kültür hayatı ile Avrupa’ya etkileri saptanmaya çalışılmıştır. Özelde Ziryab genelde doğu simgesinin Batı medeniyetinin oluşumundaki etkilerinin sorgulanması çalışmamızın ana problemidir. Bu çalışmanın ana konusu; Ziryab’ın Bağdat kültür ve medeniyetini taşıdığı Kurtuba’da mûsikî, konservatuvar, modern pedagojik eğitim, hitabet, astroloji ve moda tasarımı alanındaki öncülüğü ile onun Endülüs ve Avrupa kültür ve medeniyetine etkileri, dolayısıyla Ziryab figürü üzerinden Doğu’nun Batı kültür ve medeniyetine etkisinin araştırılmasıdır. Bu çerçevede çalışmamızda dünya sosyal ve kültürel hayatına nüfuz etmiş “Ziryab etkisi”, Batı ve Doğu kaynakları, klasik ve güncel çalışmalarla birlikte taranarak ortaya konmuştur. Bunun için öncelikle Ziryab’ın gerçek kimliğini tespit amacıyla ona ait en eski kaynaklarda yer alan biyografik bilgiler ve modern biyografileri göz önünde tutularak gerçek hayat hikâyesi tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın bir diğer ayağı ise; Endülüs’te çeşitli alanlarda meydana gelen köklü değişimlerin sebebinin yalnızca Ziryab mı, yoksa Ziryab rolünün büyüyen bir efsaneye mi sebep olduğu konusu olmuştur.
Çalışmanın giriş kısmında VIII. yüzyıla kadar Bağdat’taki ve IX. yüzyıla kadar Endülüs’teki mûsikî ve sosyal hayat hakkında kısaca bilgi verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde Ziryab’ın hayatı, eğitimi, Endülüs’e geçişi ve çeşitli alanlarda Endülüs hayatına etkileri, ikinci bölümde kendisiyle ilgili kaynak analizi ve Batılıların çalışmalarındaki yansıması anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu mühim figürün Batı dünyasına ve günümüze etkileri çalışmamızın üçüncü bölümünü oluşturmuştur. Batı’nın üstünlüğü tezini savunan birtakım oryantalistlerce Ziryab figürünün gerçek etkisinin tahrif edilmesi sonuç kısmımızın odak noktasını oluşturmuştur.
In this study, the effects of Ziryab's figure on Europe has been tried to researched. In specific area Ziryab, in the general area the questioning of the effect of West civilizations by the symbol of east are the main problem of our study. The main theme of this study is the effect of Ziryab on Kurtuba where he spreaded the culture and civilization via music, conservatoire, modern pedogogical education, declamation, astrology and fashion design as well as his effects on Andalusia and Europe culture; therefore, our aim is to present a study showing the effects of East on West culture and civilization through Ziryab's figure. In this frame, the effects of Ziryab which empierced world's cultural and social life is researched and it has been presented by scanning both Eastern and Western books as well as classical and actuel studies. In order to do this study, firstly, Ziryab's real life story has been tried to confirmed by taking into account his modern biographies and biographical information that appear in the oldest researches belonging to him. Another base of this study is to search whether Ziryab is the only person who is responsible for all various changeovers in Andalusia or it is because of Zıryab's role that spreaded as a legend.
In the beginning of the study, it is informed briefly about the social and musical life in Endulus till IX. and in Bagdat till VIII. In the first part, the life, education, the process that he had while passing to Endülüs and his effects on various areas in life has been tried to researched. In the second part, research analyses about him and his efffetcs on Western studies has been tried to discoursed. The effects on this momentous figure on Western world and on our actuel world established the third part of our study. The falsification of Zıryab's figure by some oriantalists that defends the supremacy of West has established the main focus of our study.

Tebriz, Erzurum, Erzincan, Sivas, Kayseri, Nevşehir, Aksaray, Konya ve Antalya bağlantısından oluşan bu rota, özellikle Anadolu Selçukluları zamanında aktif bir şekilde kullanılmıştır. Anadolu Selçuklu Devleti fetih politikalarını ticari kazanç elde edebilecekleri bölgelere doğru gerçekleştirmişlerdir. Çeşitli devletlerle imzaladıkları uluslararası antlaşmalarla canlı bir ekonomik hayatın oluşmasını sağlamışlardır. Kervanların güvenli bir şekilde ilerleyebilmesi amacıyla güzergâh üzerine kervansaraylar inşa edilmiş, yıllık panayırlar düzenlenmiş, haftalık pazarlar kurulmuştur. Bu canlı ve güvenli ortam, Çin ipeğinin, Hindistan baharatlarının, İran gümüşlerini, Suriye cam eşyalarının, Malezya değerli taşlarının, Rusya kürklerinin, Irak atlaslarının, Kafkasya atlarının, Horasan kılıçlarının Anadolu üzerinden dünyanın dört bir tarafına taşınmasına vesile olmuştur. Anadolu ise imal ettiği değerli kumaşlar, çeşitli madenler, orman ürünleri ve diğer çok sayıda ürün ile ticarete katılmıştır. Bu zengin tüketim ürünleri kültürel değişim ve etkileşimi hızlandırmıştır. Bu sebeplerle, kapsamlı ve çok katmanlı bir ekonomik ve kültürel etkileşim sistemi olarak, İpek Yolu, bugün küreselleşme olarak tanımladığımız olgunun modernite öncesi bir prototipi olarak kabul edilebilir.
One of the Anatolian corridors of the Silk Road, which was world's most significant links between nations and continents both culturally and historically, was the Tabriz-Antalya Corridor. This route, which was composed of Tabriz, Erzurum, Sivas, Kayseri, Nevsehir, Aksaray, Konya and Antalya corridor, was utilized actively especially during the time of Anatolian Seljuks. The state of Anatolian Seljuks conducted its conquests toward the regions from which it could accrue material benefits. By signing international agreements with several states, the Seljuks enabled a thriving commercial life. In order to ensure safe passage to caravans, caravansaries were built along the trade routes, annual fairs were held, and weekly markets were set. This thriving and safe situation enabled the transfer of Chinese silk, Indian spices, Iranian silver, Syrian glassware, Malaysian precious stones, Russian fur, Iraqi carpets, Caucasian horses, Khorasan swords across the world through Anatolia. For its part, Anatolia joined this trade with precious clothes that it produced, as well as various minerals, forestry products and many others. The rich consumption goods helped accelerate cultural exchange and mutual influence. For these reasons, as a comprehensive and multilateral system of economic and cultural interaction, Silk Road, may be regarded as a pre-modern prototype of what we call today globalization.

XVIII. yüzyıl, Osmanlı Devleti açısından oldukça sıkıntılı bir dönem olmuştur. Bu dönemde Osmanlı Devleti dış cephede Avusturya, Rusya ve İran devletleriyle mücadele ederken içeride de bir takım isyanlarla uğraşmak durumunda kalmıştır. Bunlardan biri de 1730 senesinde Lale Devri’ni sona erdiren Patrona Halil İsyanıdır. Osmanlı Devleti bu vaziyette iken Sultan I. Mahmud Osmanlı Devleti’nin 24. Padişahı olarak başa geçmiştir.
Sultan I. Mahmud’un tahta çıkış tarihi 2 Ekim 1730’dur. Sultan I. Mahmud tahta çıktığı esnada İran tahtında Şah II. Tahmasb bulunmaktadır. 1736 senesine kadar İran tahtında bulunan II. Tahmasb’ın ardından İran’ın başına Nadir Şah geçmiştir. 11 sene kadar İran tahtında oturan Nadir Şah 1747 yılında öldürülmüştür.
XVIII. yüzyılın ikinci çeyreğindeki Osmanlı-İran ilişkileri genel olarak birbirlerinden toprak elde etme mücadeleleri ile geçmiştir. Mücadele bugünkü Doğu Anadolu toprakları ile Azerbaycan, İran Azerbaycan’ı ve Irak topraklarında geçmiştir. Ancak sonuçta iki devletin sınırları 1639 yılında imzalanmış olan Kasr-ı Şirin Anlaşması’ndaki haliyle kabul edilmiştir.
Sultan I. Mahmud döneminde İran ile mücadelelerin önemli bir bölümü Nadir Şah ile gerçekleşmiştir. Bu dönemde iki hükümdar sadece siyasi ve askeri mücadeleler vermemiş, aynı zamanda dinî-mezhebî meseleler de gündeme gelmiştir.
XIII. Century has been a very troubled period in terms of the Ottoman State. During this period, the Ottoman Empire struggled against the Austrian, Russian and Iranian states on the outside and had to deal with a number of revolts and rebellions from inside. One of these is the Patrona Halil Rebellion, which ended the Tulip Era in 1730. While the Ottoman Empire was in this position, Sultan Mahmud I was succeeded as the 24th Sultan of the Ottoman State.
The date of the ascension of Sultan Mahmud I to the throne is 1730. When Sultan Mahmud I ascended the throne, Shah II. Tahmasb was on the throne of Iran. He was on the throne of Iran until the year 1736. Following Tahmasb II, Nadir Shah ascended the throne of Iran and he ruled for 11 years and was killed in 1747.
The Ottoman-Iranian relations in the second quarter of the XVIII. century passed generally by struggles to acquire land. Particularly today's eastern Anatolia, Azerbaijan, Iran Azerbaijan and Iraq are regions where intense struggles were made between the Ottoman Empire and Iran. These regions were constantly changing hands between the Ottoman Empire and Iran, but ultimately the borders of the two states were determined according to the Kasr-i Shirin Agreement, signed in 1639.
During the reign of Sultan Mahmud I, a significant part of the fights with Iran were carried out with Nadir Shah. In this period, the two dynasties did not only give political and military struggles, but also dealt with religious-sectarian issues.

Bu çalışmada, Hz. Peygamber (s.a.v.)’in hayatını konu edinen Neşru’t-Tıyb fi Ahvâli’l-Habîb adlı risâlenin edisyon kritiği yapılarak eserin muhtevası üzerinde değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Üzerinde çalıştığımız eser günümüzden yaklaşık 284 yıl önce yazılmıştır. Eserde, Peygamber Efendimiz (s.a.v.)’in nesebi, doğumu, mucizeleri ve diğer bazı özellikleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Osmanlı devri gelenek ve zihniyet dünyasında kaleme alınan bu risâle, dönemin Padişahı I. Mahmud’a sunulmuştur.
Sözlükte davranış, hal, tavır, biyografi, hayat hikâyesi gibi anlamlara gelen siyer (ال سيرة
veya ال سيرة النَّبَويَّة ) Hz. Muhammed (s.a.v)’in hayat hikâyesi anlamında kullanılmaktadır. Müslümanlar, tarih boyunca Peygamber (s.a.v.)’in sözlerini, davranışlarını, gündelik yaşantısını araştırıp bu maksatla topladıkları bilgileri kitaplaştırmışlar veya bu kitaplara şerh ve haşiyeler yazmışlardır. Günümüzde daha çok tarihçiler ve edebiyatçılar tarafından tarih ve dil yönüyle inceleme yapılan Osmanlı devri siyer kitapları üzerine akademik çalışmalar, her geçen gün artmaktadır.
Bu çalışma, giriş ve iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde eserin yazılma amacı, metin tesisinde takip edilen yol ve nüshalar hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde, “Neşru’t-Tıyb fi Ahvâli’l-Habîb” adlı eserin muhtevası ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiş; ikinci bölümde ise, metin Arap harfleriyle yeniden dizilerek, nüshalar arasındaki farklılıklar gösterilmiştir. Eserde geçen ayet ve hadislerin yerleri ve kaynakları bulunup dipnotlarda gösterilmiştir. İçerik bakımından aynı anlamda fakat farklı lafızlarla kaynakta geçen hadisler

Bu çalışmayla XVIII. yüzyıl Osmanlı zihniyet dünyasını yansıtan bir risâleyi gün yüzüne çıkararak ilgililerin istifadesine sunmayı ve eserin farklı nüshalarını tanıtıp, aralarındaki bazı farklılıkları göstererek günümüz siyer çalışmalarına katkı sağlamayı düşünüyoruz.
In this study, by criticizing edition version of the epistle called Neşru’t-Tıyb fi Ahvâli’l-Habîb which is about Prophet Muhammed’s (PBUH) life, assessments were made on information about the content of the work. This epistle which is worked on in this study was written 284 years ago. In the work, some information about Prophet Muhammed’s (PBUH) family, birth, miracles and his other features were given. This epistle bearing the tradition and mentality of Ottoman era was presented to Sultan Mahmud I (Ottoman Sultan) during his reign.
Seerah (ال سيرة النَّبَويَّة or ال سيرة ) which has some meanings such as status, attitudes and biography in the dictionary is used in the meaning of Prophet Muhammed’s (PBUH) life. In the course of history, Muslims investigated the words, behaviours, everyday life of Prophet Muhammed’s (PBUH) and they collected them into a book or they wrote comments and footnotes on them. Today, in addition to copyrighted and commented works, Ottoman era Seerah works were also the subject of academic studies and most of the studies about this were conducted by the litterateurs and historians from the aspect of language and history.
This study which is about this work consists of an introduction part, first and second part.
In the introduction part includes the purpose of the study, the ways followed in order to get the text of the work and information about the copies of the work. In the first part of the study, information about the content of the work called “Neşru’t-Tıyb fi Ahvâli’l-Habîb” was given. In the second part, it was shown that differences among the copies of the work by showing them in Arabic again. The places and resources of verses and hadiths found in this work were detected and shown in a footnote.
By this study, an epistle which reflects 18th century Ottoman era mentality is presented to be used by the competent. It is hoped that this study will make a contribution to today’s Seerah studies by presenting this epistle that reflects the features of Ottoman era tradition and mentality.

Bu çalışma, Osmanlı Devleti'nin mahkeme kayıtlarını tutan şer'iye sicillerinden Sivrihisar'a ait bir numaralı defterin 162-237.sahifelerinin transkribe edilerek değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Defterin bu günkü alfabe ile yazımı sırasında basit transkripsiyon kuralları uygulanmıştır. Metindeki hükümler, tarihsel bakış açısı ile değerlendirilmiş, konuyu tamamlamak bakımından Osmanlı hukuk sistemi ile ilgili birtakım kavramlar tanıtılmıştır. Çalışmada ayrıca Sivrihisar'ın tarihi hakkında kısa bilgi verilmiştir.
Çeşitli konularda hükümlerin yer aldığı defter, dönemin siyasi, sosyo-ekonomik, askerî ve kültürel yönleri hakkında fikirler vermektedir. Bu bilgiler ışığında Osmanlı Devleti'nin merkez dışındaki uygulamaları ve Sivrihisar’ın Osmanlı tarihindeki önemi de ortaya çıkmaktadır.
This study aims to transcribe and evaluate the notbook no: 10 which contains sheriah judical records of Sivrihisar City of Ottoman Empire. Transcription and evaluation of this material may present a valuable source for further resarches. Simple transcription rules were used during the rewriting of the material with current Turkısh alphabeth. Verdicts in the text were evaluated by a historical we point. Some concepts considering Ottoman Legal System were explained and a short history of Sivrihisar City was included to make the subject more clear.
The notbook gives some idea about politics, sosyo- economics, military and culturel aspects of the era. Through these information, social implementations of the Ottoman Empire apart from the center may be comprehended better and importance of the city can be seen.

Bu çalışmanın konusu 20. yüzyılda yaşamış Kırımlı bir yazar olan Cengiz
Dağcı’nın hayatı ve eserlerinde geçen İslamî motiflerdir. Cengiz Dağcı II. Dünya
Savaşı’nda Rus ordusunda Almanlara karşı savaşmış, bu sırada Alman ordusuna esir
düşmüştür. Savaştan sonra Londra’ya yerleşen Dağcı kendi başından geçenleri ve
Kırım halkının yaşadıklarını konu alan eserler yazmıştır.
Bu çalışma iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde Cengiz Dağcı’nın hayatı
incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise Cengiz Dağcı’nın eserlerinde geçen İslamî motifler
kategorize edilerek değerlendirilmiştir
The subjects of this study are the life of Cengiz Dağcı, a Crimean writer who
lived in the 20th century and Islamic motifs in his works. Cengiz Dagci fought
against the Germans in the Russian army in World War II, during this time he was
captured by the German army. After the war, he settled in London and wrote works
on what happened to his life and the lives of the people of Crimea.
This study consists of two parts. In the first chapter, Cengiz Dağcı's life is
examined. In the second chapter, Islamic motifs in Cengiz Dağcı's works were
categorized and commented

Bu çalışma Hz. Peygamberin son günlerinde yaşanmış olan hadiseleri ele almaktadır. Çalışmanın giriş bölümünde konunun mahiyeti ve dayandığı kaynaklar ele alınıp bu kaynaklar çerçevesinde çalışmanın önemi üzerinde durulmaktadır. Birinci bölüm Hz. Peygamberin Medine’de iken, hac yapmak için insanları hacca çağırması ile başlamakta, daha sonra güzergâh boyunca Mekke’ye kadar konaklanan yerler, o yerlerde yaşanan olaylar ve bu olaylara bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan hadiselerin ele alınmasıyla devam etmektedir. İkinci bölüm ise olaylar Hz. Peygamberin hac için Mekke’de bulunduğu esnada, yer ve zaman unsurlarına dikkat edilerek incelenmektedir. Daha sonrasında Hz. Peygamberin Medine’ye dönüşü ve vefatına kadar yaşadıkları ele alınıp değerlendirmeler yapılmaktadır.
Sonuç bölümünde ise Hz. Peygamberin ömrünün son zamanlarında yaşanan olayların İslam dünyasına nasıl etki ettiği üzerinde durulmuş ve bu etkinin günümüzdeki yansımaları değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır.
This work is done with the incidents that happened in the last days of the Prophet. The introductory part of the work focuses on the nature of the subject and on the resources on which the work is based on, and the importance of working within the framework of these resources is emphasized. The first chapter is Hz. While the Prophet was in Medina, he began to call people with hajj, then the places that lived along the route until Mecca continued with the events that took place in those places and the incidents that emerged due to these events. In the second part, While the Prophet is in Mecca for the pilgrimage, it is examined with attention to the elements of time and place. Later the Prophet's return to Medina and his deportation to consider their. In the conclusion, the events of the last months and even days of the Prophet's life were evaluated on how it affects the Islamic world.

Bu çalışmanın konusu, Hz. Muhammed (sav) tarafından “annem” diye hitap
edilen ve anılan dört kadındır. Bu kadınlar; Hz. Muhammed’in, annesi Âmine hatun,
dadısı Ümmü Eymen, sütannesi Halime ve amcası Ebu Talib’in hanımı Fatıma bt.
Esed’dir. Çalışmada Hz. Muhammed’in yetişmesinde birlikte olduğu dört kadının ve
dolayısıyla aile bireylerinin Hz. Muhammed ile olan ilişkisi incelenmiştir.
Bu çalışma iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde Hz. Muhammed’in
(sav) doğduğu; coğrafi, sosyal, ekonomik, kültürel, dinî ortam incelenmiştir. İkinci
bölümde ise asıl konumuz olan bu dört kadının, Hz. Muhammed ile birliktelikleri
değerlendirilmiştir
The subject of this study is four women who called and referred to "my mother"
by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). These women are Prophet Muhammad's
mother Amina Khatun, nurse Umm Ayman, wet nurse Halima and his uncle Abu
Talib’s wife Fatima bt. Assad. In the study, the four women with the Prophet
Muhammad while he was growing and therefore the relationship with the Prophet
Muhammad’s family members were examined.
This study consists of two parts. In the first chapter, the geographical, social,
economic, cultural and religious environment in which Prophet Muhammad (peace be
upon him) was born was examined. In the second chapter, these four women who are
our main subject, the relationship of these four women with Prophet Muhammad
(peace be upon him) was evaluated

İnsanlık tarihi ile başlayan eğitim, her çağda toplumların en önemli
gereksinimlerinden biri olmuştur. Bu çalışma, İslam’ın ilk yıllarından itibaren cami
ve çevrelerinde başlayan eğitimin, zamanla daha da sistematik olarak geliştiği
medreseler dönemiyle ilgilidir. Çalışma, Osmanlı döneminin Sivrihisar
bölgesindeki medreselerle sınırlıdır.
İnsanlar, İslam’ın ilk yıllarında eğitim olarak sadece Kur’an öğretimi ve
Peygamberimiz (sav) hakkındaki rivayetleri ele almışlardı. Bunun yanında günlük
hayatta karşılaşılan sorularının İslam’ın temel kaynaklarına dayalı olarak çözümü
konularında bilgiler elde etmeye çalışmışlardı. Ancak zamanla hayatın her yönüyle
ilgili bilgilerin öğrenilmesi gereği kabul edilmiştir. Bu durum, insanları çok çeşitli
bilgileri öğreneceği eğitim kurumları oluşturmaya sevk etmiştir. İşte medreseler de
böyle bir ihtiyaçtan doğmuştur. Bu çalışmada Sivrihisar’daki (Sefer-i Hisar)
Osmanlı Medreseleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Burada, kaynaklara ulaşılabildiği
ölçüde, Osmanlı Devleti’nin önemli konumlarında görev alan şahsiyetlerin
yetişmesini sağlayan bu medreselerin kuruluş yeri, banisi, vakfiyesi, vakıf yerleri
ve bu yerlerden gelen gelirler, varsa camii ve kümbetleri, öğrenci sayısı ve ders
veren müderrisleri tanıtılacaktır
Education, which started with the history of humanity, has been one of the
most important requirements of societies in every age. This study is about the period
of madrasas, where education started in mosques and their environs from the first
years of Islam and developed more systematically in time. The study is limited to
the madrasas in Sivrihisar region of the Ottoman period.
In the early years of Islam, people only studied the Qur'an and narrations
about our Prophet (saas). In addition, they tried to obtain information about the
solution of their daily problems based on the basic sources of Islam. However, in
time, it was accepted that information about all aspects of life should be learned.
This has led people to establish educational institutions where they can learn a wide
range of information. Madrasas were born from such a need. In this study,
information was given about the Ottoman Madrasas in Sivrihisar (Sefer-i Hisar).
Here, as far as the sources are available, the place of establishment of the madrasas,
the person, foundation, foundation places and income from these places, if any,
mosques and vaults, number of students and lecturers will be introduced

Bu çalışmanın konusu Osmanlı Devleti’ndeki vak‘anüvislik müessesesi ve bu
alanda eser vermiş olan Râşid Mehmed Efendi’nin hayatı, ilmî kişiliği ve telif ettiği
eserlerdir. Çalışmada özellikle Râşid Mehmed Efendi’nin Târîh-i Râşid adlı eseri
üzerine yoğunlaşılmış ancak bu eserin dil, üslup ve metot yönünden aynı dönemi
kapsayan Îsâ-zâde Târîhi ve Nusretnâme adlı iki eserle karşılaştırılması yapılmaya
çalışılmıştır. Diğer taraftan tarih yazımında resmî ve gayrı resmî tarihçiliğin etkileri
üzerinde durulmuş, resmî tarihçilerin rahatlıkla dile getiremedikleri konuları gayri
resmî tarihçilerin daha kolaylıkla ifade edebildikleri gözlemlenmiştir
This study’s subject is the Institution of Chronicles in the Osmanlı Devlet and
the life of Râşid Mehmed Efendi who was one of the chroniclers in 18th century, his
personality as a scholar and his works. Study particularly focuses on one of his work
named “Târîh-i Râşid” and in terms of metholodology and style this book was com pared with “Îsâ-zâde Târîhi” and “Nusretnâme” which covered same period. On the
other hand study emphasized the impact of official and unofficial historiography on
historical writing, so it is concluded that the unofficial historians expressed the histo rical subjects more easily than the official historians
